ABOUT US-CAFÉ CON JIRIBILLA
We started in the specialty coffee industry more than 10 years ago and, since 2017, Cafe con Jiribilla became our main project as a roaster developed by us, Yarismeth Barrientos and Carlos De la Torre with three main purposes:
- Understand our conditions as roasters from a producing country not as a limitation, but as an opportunity to carry out direct trade with small producers and encourage them to develop their coffees in the specialty market with the proper orientation and fair prices, higher than the local market and even higher than those expected by international buyers.
- Promote Mexican coffee inside and outside of Mexico, seeking quality in the cup and in the lives of all the people involved in our value chain. That led to local and international competition that resulted in a pair of national championships, a WBC semifinal with an eighth-place finish, and most recently the L.A. Coffee Masters title.
- Share our happiness in the form of roasted coffee. We are a family project united by coffee and inspired by the people around it. So, sharing our work, reducing the distances between the actors and being transparent while acknowledging each part of the chain is what moves us every day.
